Emma graduated with a LLB/BA Hons Law & Business Studies degree at the Magee campus. She undertook a dissertation in partnership with Help the Aged. Emma explored the issue of older people and age discrimination in Health Services. Through the organisation, Emma was invited to a conference on age discrimination, she gained access to the Help the Aged library and direct contact with older people who had experienced age discrimination.
