Davog graduated with a BSc Hons Criminology and Criminal Justice degree at the Jordanstown campus. He undertook a dissertation through the Science Shop for the Youth Justice Agency. Davog needed to identify a youth justice project based in Tyrone to allow him to balance work and academic commitments. The Science Shop identified a project in Omagh that explored the business community’s willingness to participate in youth conferencing.

Davog wanted to participate in a practical action based project and recognised that the Science Shop could provide this opportunity. Completing his project allowed Davog to listen to both sides of the story, providing him with a better understanding of the criminal justice system in Northern Ireland.
