Aoife is completing a BA Hons Architecture degree at the Belfast campus. During a compulsory second year module called the ‘OUTside project’ Aoife engaged in a Science Shop project in the Northwest.

Along with nine classmates Aoife worked in partnership with the Riverview Residence Association helping them to envisage the potential locked in the disused Foyle Railway Museum on the banks of the Foyle.

The students used their expertise and experience to provide a range of
ideas for the group to consider.

Through the project, the students engaged with local residents, attended a Derry City Council meeting to discuss the site and showcased their proposals to residents, community and political representatives at an event held in the City.
